Crane protection panels
Crane protection panels are intended for:
maximum current protection (during short-circuit failures and overloading);
under-voltage protection (at intolerable decrease or disappearance of the voltage);
finite protection (in combination with limit switches);
zero blocking (prohibition of launching the engines in case at least one of the power controllers or command controllers is not in zero position).
Protection panels are also applied to switch off crane installations at breaking of the emergency switch and contact of the access hatch.
The protection panel includes:
line contactor (one or several);
maximum current relay;
The protection panel type is chosen depending on the current kind, mains voltage, the amount of the nominal currents of the electric motor and the control type.
